A health festival in Whitehill & Bordon is looking to encourage more than 500 people to try out a new activity that could improve their health and wellbeing.
Called Spring into Health, the week-long festival will help people feel good about themselves with a host of events people can sign up to.
Whether it’s football fun, relaxing yoga, bootcamp training or a diverting dance class there’s loads for people in the town have a go at.
East Hampshire District Council, working with the Whitehill Bordon Regeneration Company, has organised the scheme, which runs from April 27 to 6 May, as part of the Healthy New Town programme.
Clare Chester, Head of Regeneration, said: “We’re looking for 500 people to try something new during the Spring into Health Festival.
“We’ve teamed up with local groups to provide a huge number of opportunities during the Spring into Health Festival. Have a look through the programme and pick out the activities that strike your fancy and then give them a go!
“Who knows, you might discover you have a hidden talent for trampolining or that cricket really bowls you over!
“To take part, choose an activity that takes your fancy, contact the organiser, sign up to a few taster sessions and give it a go!”
