There are nearly 300,000 people of working age, who are generally young and highly sckilled, within a 45 minute journey from Whitehill & Bordon.

The town is in an excellent location. It is within an hour’s drive from London and near to the south coast cities of Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester – as well as half an hour from Guildford with easy access to the A3 (which connects Portsmouth to London.

Whitehill & Bordon is ideally located between major business centres and commercial markets – which are connected by the A3, A31 and M3 road network.

The town is also a gateway to the beautiful South Downs National Park which stretches from Winchester to Eastbourne.

 Rail

The nearest mainline stations are Liss and Liphook and these both go to London Waterloo and Portsmouth.

Air 

The town is in easy reach of Gatwick, Heathrow and Southampton airports – which are all within about an hour’s drive from the town.

The town has several infant and junior schools – as well as a secondary school.

Alton College is nearby and offers sixth form education. Farnborough College of Technology is also nearby.

The town is well-placed for several universities including the University of Portsmouth, the University of Southampton and the University of Surrey (in Guildford).
