Whitehill & Bordon Governance Structure
The regeneration of Whitehill & Bordon is already underway and priorities have been established. These priorities include; to create a new green, healthy and connected town by 2036 and to ensure that the design and physical components of the new town are underpinned by place-making principles that encourage community participation, develop civic pride and support healthy and active lifestyles.

Place-Making Whitehill & Bordon Governance Structure
Background
- A review was carried out September 2020, to ensure that the governance remains effective and continues to provide the right framework to enable the project to move forward and also to ensure it continues to positively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Much of the success of the Whitehill & Bordon regeneration programme has been down to the strength of its partnership and the working arrangements between the various decision-makers, delivery bodies and stakeholders. This approach is set out in an agreed governance approach.
- The Whitehill & Bordon governance structure comprises three strands; a strategic strand, which feeds into a delivery strand, which in turn feeds into a community stakeholder engagement strand.
