On behalf of East Hampshire District Council (EHDC), Urban Place Lab and Feria Urbanism are holding workshops to develop new wayfinding ideas for Whitehill & Bordon.

Wayfinding can include ideas such as fun and engaging signage, colourful feature gateways, paving enhancements (including decals and messaging), imaginative public spaces, planting, and other equipment.

A background paper with further information will be emailed to interested participants prior to the workshop dates.

We are offering four online workshop dates, each lasting 90 minutes which can be booked online.

Please note that each session will consider either the round-town Green Loop, or the cross-town Green Grid, so please only book one slot for each.

The workshop dates in October will cover the Green Grid and the dates in November will focus on the Green Loop.

These workshops will include an opportunity for you to engage with us and share your experiences of walking and cycling around the town using a combination of digital mapping tools and presentations. No prior technical experience will be necessary other than access to a computer and the internet.

The project team also hope to share their findings and discuss potential interventions that could be installed around the town as part of an implementation phase in 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you online shortly.
