Northern Gateway  – What is it?

The Whitehill & Bordon Northern Gateway site is a key gateway site situated on the corner of Camp Road (C114) and Station Road. It comprises the following uses:  

• Eco Station / former Fire Station  
  • Ground Floor Plans 
  • First Floor Plans
  • Asbestos Survey 1
  • Asbestos Survey 2
• Exhibition House, Shed and Store   
  •  Exhibition House Floor Plans and Store Floor Plans,
• Former Lloyds Bank   
  • Ground Floor Plans
  • Asbestos Survey 1
  • Asbestos Survey 2
• Woodland ribbon and verge  

East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) has declared the Northern Gateway Site in Whitehill & Bordon surplus to its operational requirements. 

An Expression of Interest (EoI) exercise was undertaken between February and April 2024 to ascertain the nature of interest in the site and existing buildings and to understand how interested parties would propose to use the site in the future.  It has now been agreed by EHDC that interested parties from the EoI exercise will be given a 12 week period to work up a bid to acquire the freehold or a leasehold interest in the whole of the site.   This process will close on 30^th September 2024.
